We are dedicated to providing high-quality spay and neuter surgical services at an affordable price. Each year millions of animals are euthanized in U.S. shelters due to lack of homes. Spaying and neutering help to combat the pet overpopulation problem and help your pets live a healthy, happy life.
We are a streamlined operation for healthy pets. With focusing only on these surgeries, the veterinarian becomes very experienced and your pet spends less time under anesthesia than in a traditional clinic.

Owner, Medical Director
Dr. Mocko grew up in Northern Virginia. She attended Mary Baldwin College and received her DVM from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine (Class of 1996). While honing her skills in private practice, Dr. Mocko volunteered as the Medical Director for Alley Cat Allies's TNR clinic for 10 years. After she met her husband, she moved to Maryland and has been in Bowie ever since. She has worked as a shelter veterinarian and the medical director of a high-volume spay & neuter clinic. She has trained at the ASPCA's spay/neuter clinic in Asheville, NC (formerly Humane Alliance). Dr. Mocko does have a particular fondness for cats, especially tortoiseshells and calicoes and is irked that the State of Maryland doesn't know the difference (or that the calico is not a breed of cat.)
Rachel grew up in Upstate New York. She attended SUNY Oneonta where she graduated with her Bachelors Degree in Anthropology. Over the last 10 years Rachel has been learning and growing her skills while working her way from receptionist to surgical assistant to manager. She managed a high-volume spay & neuter clinic for 4 years.
When she's not working, she loves to spend time with her husband and rescue pets, Buckley an Australian Shepherd mix and Aurora a Torbie.

Beth is a Maryland girl- born and raised in Silver Spring. Her father was Curator of Large Mammals at the National Zoo in Washington, DC, so her love of animals started at a young age.
